Oman E-Commerce Forum kicks off on Tuesday

 

Muscat - The second edition of the Oman E-Commerce Forum 2025 will kick off on Tuesday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organised by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP), the event will feature a wide range of
e-commerce experts and specialists from within and outside the Sultanate, as well as representatives from several government and private institutions.

The forum aims to discuss the latest developments in the e-commerce sector and review key global practices and future trends in the digital economy, enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and keeping pace with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

The forum's program includes a series of discussion sessions and presentations that address key topics, including: the Ministry's role in keeping pace with global developments in e-commerce, the future of artificial intelligence and data analysis, national strategies for enhancing the digital economy, the role of smart applications in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, and future trends in innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises. The forum also reviews regional and global experiences in this field and focuses on new horizons for cooperation and partnerships between the public and private sectors.

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion is participating in COMEX 2025 with a special pavilion dedicated to digital transformation, highlighting the ministry's role in transforming all its services into integrated electronic services.

The corner also offers a unique interactive experience, allowing visitors, particularly business owners, to learn more about the Ministry's most prominent services through its digital channels and platforms. This will enhance community awareness and facilitate their access to these modern services.

Azza bint Ibrahim al Kindi, Director of the Commercial Affairs and E-Commerce Department at MOCIIP, emphasized that organizing the forum reflects the ministry's commitment to promoting digital transformation in the commercial sector and providing an innovative business environment that keeps pace with global developments.

She stated that the second edition of the Oman E-Commerce Forum 2025 represents a strategic platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing the latest trends in the digital economy.
