Comex 2025 begins on September 8

The event will run for four days at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).

 

The 34th edition of the Communications and Information Technology Exhibition (COMEX 2025) will begin on Monday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by Arabian Data Analytics and supervised and supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology. The event will run for four days.

The exhibition focuses on the latest technological trends, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, the space industry, digital transformation, and modern technologies, along with innovative solutions in the fields of health, education, e-commerce, and smart government services, reflecting the path of digital transformation in the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Vision 2040.

The exhibition will witness the participation of government agencies from various sectors related to digital transformation and smart services, in addition to the signing of a number of agreements and contracts and the launch of new digital initiatives and projects. It will also include a series of specialized forums and dialogue sessions focusing on the latest technical and economic trends, most notably the Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing Forum, the E-Commerce Forum, and the Banking Services and Financial Technologies Forum.

The exhibition will also include the Modernity Forum for Cybersecurity and sessions on digital transformation and future infrastructure, including topics on smart cities, fifth-generation networks, and digital sustainability. These forums and sessions provide an interactive platform for experts, decision-makers, and investors to discuss global developments and exchange insights on the future of the digital economy in the Sultanate of Oman.

She explained that this year's edition of COMEX 2025 will also witness a broad presence of emerging technology companies through the Startup Zone, which includes more than 140 companies, including 30 companies whose participation was selected and supported by the Ministry. The zone will include the signing of agreements, the launch of innovative products and solutions, and specialized workshops and discussion sessions.
