Over 300 school items with offensive symbols seized in Muscat

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Muscat Governorate seized over 300 items of school supplies and children’s toys carrying symbols deemed offensive to religious values.
The seized goods, which included 347 s printed with skulls, were found being sold in several commercial establishments in violation of the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulations.
The CPA confirmed that the offending establishments were fined, and all the confiscated goods were withdrawn from the market to prevent circulation.
The authority reiterated its commitment to monitoring markets across governorates to safeguard consumers from products that contradict social and religious values, while urging commercial outlets to comply fully with prevailing laws and regulations.
