Al RUSTAQ: The number of licensed hotel establishments in Al Batinah South Governorate reached 249 by the end of July 2025. This includes 11 hotels, 8 hotel apartments, 5 rest houses, 2 camps, 173 guesthouses, 48 green lodges and 2 heritage inns.
Statistics from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism show that these establishments are distributed across the wilayats as follows: 182 in Barka, 34 in Al Musannah, 22 in Al Rustaq, 10 in Nakhal and 1 in Wadi Al Maawil.
The statistics also reported that there are 198 licensed travel and tourism offices in Al Batinah South Governorate. Of these, 116 are for travel agency activities and 82 are for tour operator activities. - ONA
