MHT concludes promotions in India

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) concluded its three-day promotional workshops in India, held with the participation of 25 Omani tourism institutions.
The workshops included 150 companies exporting tourism from India, and witnessed a significant presence from major Indian tourism companies and representatives of specialized media outlets, reflecting the growing interest in Omani tourism in the Indian market.

The campaign also aims to raise awareness of the Sultanate of Oman's tourism assets, highlight its position as an integrated tourism destination, and promote the most prominent services, facilities, and products available in the Omani tourism sector.

Participants in the promotional workshops emphasized the importance of such events, praising the Ministry's ongoing efforts to advance the tourism sector and enhance its presence in international markets. The seminars featured presentations from Omani tourism companies and institutions, showcasing diverse tourism packages, services, and facilities tailored to visitors, along with exclusive offers tailored to the Indian market.

A series of bilateral meetings was also held between participants from both sides, discussing ways to enhance partnerships and integration in a number of tourism sectors, contributing to increased competitiveness and attracting more tourism to the Sultanate of Oman. It is worth noting that the promotional seminars and external exhibitions organized by the Ministry in priority tourism markets contribute significantly to identifying visitors' aspirations and preferences, especially in light of the ongoing transformations in the global tourism sector, which require product development and the provision of innovative and integrated experiences. This is in addition to strengthening direct presence in target markets to ensure effective and sustainable partnerships.
