Workshop explores opportunities in strategic analysis

IBRI: Al Dhahirah Governor’s Office on Sunday organised a workshop on strategic analysis as part of steps to draft Al Dhahirah Governorate's comprehensive development plan. The workshop was attended by representatives of government departments and private sector establishments, as well as members of the local community.
The workshop began with a review of key outcomes of the earlier stage of work on drafting the governorate's strategy. Then, the participants held sessions on analysing the governorate's core competencies that offer it a competitive advantage over other areas.
The participants discussed the governorate's promising economic sectors, including mining, agriculture and logistics. They also engaged in analysing the external environment using the PESTEL model and reviewed market gaps and possible investment opportunities. - ONA
