State Council emphasises members’ role

MUSCAT: The State Council Office on Tuesday reviewed several topics, including a summary report from the Assistant Secretary-General for Sessions and Committees Affairs regarding the second ordinary session of the Council’s eighth term.
The meeting was chaired by Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Council emphasised the efforts made by the members and the Council’s General Secretariat in efficiently performing their assigned tasks. This, he noted, strengthens the Council’s legislative role during the second ordinary session of its eighth term and ensures responsible work across various activities and events.
The Council also discussed topics on the agenda and reports submitted by members concerning their participation in regional and international council meetings. — ONA
