US President receives credentials of Oman's ambassador

Washington - US President Donald Trump received Ambassador Talal bin Sulaiman al Rahbi, who presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the United States of America, during an official ceremony held at the White House.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty's wishes for good health and happiness to President Trump, and for continued progress and prosperity to the government and people of the United States of America.
The US President asked the Ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan and his wishes for His Majesty's continued health and wellness, and for the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman to continue progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the President expressed his wishes for the Ambassador's success in his duties, and for bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to further develop and prosper.
The Ambassador expressed the Sultanate of Oman's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and advance cooperation in all fields to serve common interests.
