AL RUSTAQ: The Directorate of Culture, Sports and Youth in Al Batinah South Governorate organised the ‘Youth Readiness’ event on Sunday at Al Rustaq Sports Complex.
This event, part of the celebration marking the World Youth Skills Day, comes within the ‘Future Skills for Youth’ programme, which aims to equip young people with an understanding of rapid changes in the job market and provide them with essential future skills.
The event targeted male and female youth, specifically those aged 18 to 35 from Al Batinah South Governorate, including school and university students, recent graduates and individuals interested in self-development. Fifty young men and women participated, a step towards achieving the programme’s key objectives.
The event focused on enhancing awareness of future skills and anticipating job market changes up to 2035.
It included intensive sessions on an introduction to artificial intelligence and the fundamentals of personal financial literacy. It also aimed to stimulate analytical thinking and encourage the participants to plan for their professional futures. — ONA
