MUSCAT: A programme to support cybersecurity projects was launched on Monday by the National Centre for Cyber Security at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. The programme is being implemented in cooperation with the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Muscat, in partnership with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development — with support from Eshraqa Foundation for Community Development.

The programme, which runs until July 24, is being held at Hadatha Centre for Cybersecurity Industry at UTAS. It is envisaged to serve entrepreneurs and owners of start-ups operating in the field of cybersecurity, from Muscat Governorate. It seeks to enable the stakeholders to develop their innovative ideas and convert them into viable commercial projects in local, regional or global markets.

The programme includes a training package covering operational planning skills, financial management, the development of visual identity and digital marketing, team management and the selection of employees. — ONA
