Mwasalat offers a free electric bus ride

Muscat: Mwasalat is offering free electric bus service on Route 4, which operates between Muscat and Muttrah, passing by the Al Alam Palace.
The free service will be available until July 13, between 2:30 and 10:00 pm.
During Khareef 2024, Mwasalat launched the first electric vehicle to support the achievement of the national goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050.
That bus has a capacity of 28 passengers and is electronically adjusted to travel at a speed of 70 to 130 kilometers per hour, making it suitable for use within cities.
Mwasalat has taken executive steps to reduce the carbon footprint of its operations and transform sustainability plans into tangible actions on the ground.
The free service will be available until July 13, between 2:30 and 10:00 pm.
