Gazans farewell more loved ones

A Palestinian woman weeps as she bids farewell to a loved one during the funeral of Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes. Some 613 people have been killed around aid distributions and convoys in Gaza since late May, including 509 near the US-and Israel-backed GHF's sites, the United Nations said on Friday. GHF operations have been marred by chaotic scenes and near-daily reports of Israeli forces firing on people waiting to collect rations in the Palestinian territory. The United Nations and major aid groups have refused to cooperate with the foundation over concerns it was designed to cater to Israeli military objectives and violates basic humanitarian principles. — AFP
