29 illegal immigrants arrested off North Al Batinah coast

Muscat: The Police Coast Guard, under the command of the North Al Batinah Police Department, arrested 29 individuals attempting to enter Oman illegally by sea.
The group included 27 individuals of Pakistani nationality, one Iranian national, and one Bangladeshi national. According to authorities, the boat was coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran when it was intercepted.
Legal procedures are currently underway. The Royal Oman Police reaffirmed their commitment to monitoring and securing the nation's borders against unlawful entry.
