Oman Tourism Association announces BoDs

Muscat - The Oman Tourism Association has announced the formation of its inaugural Board of Directors for the 2025–2026 term, following its official establishment under
Ministerial Decision No. 397/2024, issued on 18 December 2024 by the Ministry of Social Development.
The newly appointed Board brings together a distinguished group of Omani professionals and industry experts, with Abdulrahman Awadh Burham Ba Omar serving as Chairman, Hadi Ali al Sarhani as Vice Chairman, Issa Sultan al Ismaili as Secretary, and Jamal Saif al Azki as Treasurer.
The Board also includes Moath Salim al Ghazali, Shabib Mohammed Al Maamari, Khamis Said al Wahaibi, Said Salim al Shanfari, and Zahir Hamad al Rashdi as members.
The Association is committed to supporting the development and regulation of tourism services across the Sultanate, working in full alignment with national laws and policies. In close partnership with key stakeholders—most notably the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism—it plays a proactive role in shaping the future of Oman’s tourism landscape.
At the heart of the Association’s mission is the promotion of Oman as a world-class, culturally rich tourism destination. By fostering collaboration with public and private sector entities, it seeks to spotlight the Sultanate’s unique natural assets and heritage.
The Association focuses on building synergies among its members, championing industry best practices, and empowering startups and SMEs to thrive within an increasingly competitive environment.
