Khareef Dhofar promotion held in Kuwait

Muscat: To strengthen the tourism sector and attract more visitors from Gulf markets, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Kuwait and the Dhofar Municipality, organized a press conference to highlight the tourism potential of the Sultanate of Oman, with a focus on the Dhofar Khareef season.
The conference was attended by more than 100 prominent media professionals and representatives, as well as social media influencers and leading Kuwaiti tourism companies. This event is expected to contribute to strengthening ties between the Omani tourism sector and its counterparts in Kuwait.
The conference is part of the promotional activities to promote tourism in the Kuwaiti market, which aim to enhance the Sultanate of Oman's position as a unique tourist destination for Kuwaiti tourists.
The Khareef Dhofar season, which extends from June to September, represents a unique opportunity for tourists to enjoy Dhofar's stunning nature and moderate climate, making it an ideal destination to escape the summer heat. The Sultanate of Oman is expected to witness a significant increase in visitor numbers in the coming years, supported by similar events targeting regional and international markets.
