The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, organised the inaugural 'Real Estate Tour' on 11 May 2025 at its headquarters in Muscat. The event aimed to showcase ongoing real estate projects and highlight promising investment opportunities across Oman.

Speakers included Eng Khalfan bin Masoud al Naabi, Director General of Urban Planning and Ali bin Mohammed alLawati, Chair of the Real Estate Development Committee, who emphasised the importance of fostering direct communication between investors, developers and government representatives.

Maryam bint Hamad al Sharjiyah, Director of the Real Estate Development Services Centre, outlined the Centre’s role in supporting developers through project registration, licensing and regulatory guidance. She also discussed ongoing efforts to finalise key legislation aimed at enhancing investor confidence and digital transformation in the sector.

The session included presentations on model residential projects, real estate legislation and national development strategies, followed by a panel discussion on market trends, regulatory challenges and the impact of technology on real estate development.
