Omani officials receive Pakistan interior minister

MUSCAT: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, received on Sunday Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation and means of enhancing them. They also discussed several matters of mutual interest in a bid to enhance relations between the two countries. The two ministers underscored the importance of mutual coordination and consultation.
The meeting was attended by Maj Gen Abdullah bin Ali al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Eng Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman, and several officials from both sides. Also, Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs received on Sunday Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
