Shabab Oman II begins seventh international voyage

Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman’s ship ‘Shabab Oman II’ will embark on her seventh international voyage titled Amjad Al Bahr (Glories of Seas) on Wednesday.
Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, will preside over the ship’s farewell ceremony at the Said bin Sultan Naval Base.
During its six-month voyage, the ship will disseminate the Sultanate of Oman’s message of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood with various countries around the world by promoting authentic Omani culture at its international stops.
Shabab Oman II will visit several European countries to participate in long-distance sailing races as well as maritime several events and festivals.
