MUSCAT: The Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM) unveiled “Raya” - an initiative aimed at empowering women in the Omani workplace - during the last day of the OSHRM conference in Muscat.

“At the conclusion of its eighth annual conference, OSHRM launched the ‘Raya’ initiative, aimed at empowering women in the Omani workplace by designing an innovative, psychologically safe, motivating, and equitable work model,” the organisation shared in a statement.

The initiative, according to OSHRM, is rooted in “recent data to provide practical solutions that take cultural specificity into account, with a focus on flexible work arrangements, work-life balance, and the creation of equal opportunities.” “It also includes training and mentorship programmes, workshops, and policy review sessions, in collaboration with educational institutions and local and international organisations,” the statement continued.
