Oman, Algeria explore ties in transport

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology on Wednesday held an official talks session with the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
During the session, the two sides explored areas of bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics; and means of developing them.
The session was headed from the Omani side by Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. Meanwhile, the Algerian side was headed by Said Sayoud, Minister of Transport.
The Algerian delegation’s programme includes visiting Salalah Port and Salalah Free zone today. During these visits, the delegation will view Oman’s experiences in the transport and logistics sector.
