HM greets citizens and residents
MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended greetings to Omani citizens, residents in the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr 1446 AH.
The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement to this effect reading as follows: Upon the auspicious advent of Eid Al Fitr this year (1446 AH) and, as the Almighty Allah has bestowed His bliss upon Muslims enabling them to complete fasting of the holy month of Ramadhan and to perform prayers throughout its nights, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended his greetings and congratulations to Omani citizens, residents in the benign land of Oman and to the whole Islamic nation on this delightful occasion.
While expressing his wishes of a happy and peaceful Eid Al Fitr holiday for the people of Oman and residents, His Majesty the Sultan also prays to Allah the Almighty to bring back this happy occasion and similar events at a time all relish the bounties of well-being and prosperity.
His Majesty the Sultan prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow upon Oman and residents therein all forms of bounties and blessings.
May Allah the Almighty protect His Majesty the Sultan, endow him with abundant bounties and blessings and guard him as a symbol of support for the Sultanate of Oman and its loyal people.

Meanwhile, His Majesty the Sultan has received greetings from some officials in the Sultanate of Oman upon the advent of Eid Al Fitr.
The officials voiced their heartfelt sentiments to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him good health, happiness and a long life. They prayed to Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him success and to have him witness many blissful anniversaries of this auspicious occasion. They also renewed their pledge of allegiance to His Majesty, vowing to continue working hard to serve Oman and its noble people.
The Eid greetings were sent to His Majesty the Sultan by HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs;Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Head of the Office of the Supreme Commander; Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali, Chairman of Majlis Ash’shura; Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs; and Lt Gen Said bin Ali al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service. - ONA
