HM to offer Eid Al Fitr prayers at Grand Mosque

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will offer Eid Al Fitr prayers at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher in Muscat Governorate on Monday, according to a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court on Saturday.
The statement reads as follows: “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will offer Eid Al Fitr prayers at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher in Muscat Governorate on Monday.
During the prayers, His Majesty will be accompanied by some of the Royal Family members, ministers, under-secretaries, top officials, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and senior officers at the military and security units, members of the State Council and Majlis Ash’shura, walis, shaikhs, dignitaries and citizens. On this auspicious occasion, the Diwan of Royal Court expresses sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant him good health, well-being and happiness wishing many returns of this auspicious occasion while His Majesty, the Omani people and the Muslim population enjoy further blessings and bounties.”
HM EXCHANGES EID GREETINGS
On the advent of Eid Al Fitr 1446 AH, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has exchanged cables of greetings with the kings and leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries.
In his cables, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sentiments, wishing this occasion to bring blessings and happiness to them, the peoples of their respective countries and all Muslims around the world. His Majesty prayed to Allah the Almighty to accept their fasting, prayers and good deeds. His Majesty also prayed for the return of this and similar happy occasions on them while they enjoy security and welfare.
On their turn, the kings and leaders expressed their sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan on this blessed occasion, wishing His Majesty a happy Eid.
They prayed to Allah the Almighty to grant His Majesty good health and well-being.
