The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority has announced the launch of a specialised training programme in collaboration with Outward Bound Oman, designed to equip entrepreneurs with essential business and leadership skills. The initiative, titled “Outward Bound Oman for Entrepreneurs,” will take place in the picturesque Wilayat of Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Oman’s Green Mountain, the programme aims to empower entrepreneurs by developing their strategic planning abilities, enhancing their leadership potential, and fostering stronger professional networks among participants.
The training is open to entrepreneurs and small business owners who meet specific criteria. Eligible participants include those who hold an official Entrepreneurship Card, enterprises supported by the SMEs Development Authority, and businesses that have benefited from the Authority’s funding programmes.
The programme will be delivered in four separate cohorts, each accommodating 15 participants. The sessions are scheduled to take place from 14 to 17 April, 28 April to 1 May, 12 to 15 May, and 26 to 29 May 2025.
Participants will benefit from a comprehensive experience that includes transportation, accommodation, meals, and the necessary training materials. Each session will begin from designated collection points to ensure smooth coordination and accessibility.
With a focus on hands-on learning and outdoor challenges, the initiative aims to build confidence, resilience, and business acumen in real-world scenarios.
Entrepreneurs interested in taking part must register by March 30, 2025 via the official link.
