MARCH: The Supreme Judicial Council convened its fourth meeting of 2025, chaired by Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.

The meeting addressed several key topics in line with the Council’s mandate to oversee courts, judges and the Public Prosecution, as well as to develop laws and legislation relevant to its work.

Council members reviewed the progress of the new electronic portal for litigants, Qadaa. They expressed optimism that the Qadaa portal, along with reduced fees for Supreme Judicial Council services, would enhance judicial efficiency and streamline litigation procedures, ensuring swift justice.
