MUSCAT: The Nights of Irfan festival in Muscat Governorate is drawing large crowds, offering a vibrant shopping experience amid a rich Ramadhan atmosphere. Running until March 29, the festival serves as a platform to support local entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), reinforcing efforts to enhance local content and drive economic growth.
With 55 retail outlets dedicated to SMEs and entrepreneurs, the festival brings together a blend of culture, entertainment and commerce. Visitors can explore a diverse marketplace featuring fashion, beauty and health products, accessories, food, heritage items and perfumes, which remain a key attraction for shoppers.
Sultan bin Sulaiman al Khadori, Asset Manager at Omran Group, highlighted the festival’s comprehensive offerings that capture the essence of Ramadhan. “The festival provides a unique experience that blends cultural and artistic performances with a variety of retail and food outlets, showcasing both local and international flavours. It also features entertainment competitions for all family members, raffles, prizes, a bazaar, a dedicated children’s play area, a sports zone, an electronic games corner and live performances,” he stated.
Beyond retail, Nights of Irfan serves as an important platform for Omani entrepreneurs to present their products to a wider audience, attracting both local and international visitors. The event plays a key role in promoting the products of SMEs and productive families while fostering a thriving business environment.
