Muscat: The 23nd consultations session between the Sultanate of Oman and Brunei Darussalam was held at the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.

The Omani side was headed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Brunei side was headed by Pengiran Norhashimah binti Pengiran Mohd Hassan, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The session reviewed the bilateral relations in the economic, cultural and investment cooperation areas.

They also exchanged views on a set of regional and international issues of common interest. The session was attended by Erma bint Said al Kathiriyah, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam, Noralizan Abdul Momin, Brunei's Ambassador to Oman, Ambassador Shaikh Abdulaziz Mohammed al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department, and several officials from both sides.
