Academy head meets Egyptian delegation

MUSCAT: Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), received a delegation from the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies of the Arab Republic of Egypt at Bait Al Falaj. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several academic and training matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by several senior officers at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies and the military attaché of Egypt’s embassy in Muscat.

Meanwhile, a delegation from the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies of the Arab Republic of Egypt also visited the Joint Command and Staff College in Muscat.

Upon the delegation’s arrival at the college, they were received by Brigadier Saif bin Hamed al Yousefi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College. During the visit, the delegation watched a presentation on the college and its curricula, as well as its training and educational programmes.
