MUSCAT: Al Nahda claimed an important 3-0 away win against Bahla on Friday at Nizwa Sports Complex as part of Round 15 of the Oman Premier League (OPL).

The first half saw both teams creating chances, but a lack of composure in front of goal resulted in a goalless draw at halftime. In the second half, Al Nahda intensified their attacks, and Haj Malick broke the deadlock in the 70th minute, capitalising on a rebound from the goalkeeper. Just four minutes later, he doubled the lead from the penalty spot. Bahla attempted to mount a comeback but failed to capitalise on the few chances they had. In the 89th minute, substitute Mohammed al Ghafri sealed the win with a well-placed finish from a precise cross.

With this victory, Al Nahda climbed to second place with 34 points, while Bahla remained in sixth place with 18 points.

Al Nasr Secures a Valuable 2-0 Victory Over Saham

The first half was evenly balanced, with both teams battling for possession in midfield and exchanging opportunities without posing significant threats to goal. However, in the 40th minute, Osama Magdy broke the deadlock, putting Al Nasr ahead. Saham then attempted to push forward in search of an equaliser, but Al Nasr's defence held firm, ending the first half with a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Al Nasr came out with greater determination to extend their lead and succeeded in the 69th minute, putting Saham under immense pressure to stage a comeback. Despite their relentless attacks, Saham could not beat Al Nasr's goalkeeper, Ibrahim al Rajhi, who maintained a clean sheet. With this victory, Al Nasr increased their tally to 20 points, surpassing Saham, who remained at 17 points after this defeat.
