MUSCAT: Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Za'abi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, on Wednesday received Lt Gen Stefano Mannino, President of the Centre for Higher Defence Studies of the Republic of Italy, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of common concern, within the context of promoting the joint cooperation to serve the common interests.
The meeting was attended by Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Sultanate of Oman and the military attaché at the Italian Embassy in Muscat. — ONA
