Winners of Bait Al Ghasham awards announced

American Luke Leafgren won the second edition of the Bait Al Ghasham Dar Arab Translation Prize in the translators’ category for his translation of Bushra Khalfan’s novel Al Baghunder the title The Garden. Sudanese Mustafa KhalId Mustafa won the prize in the authors’ category for his novel “I Survived by a Miracle.



The winners were announced at the annual award ceremony held at the Cultural Club in Al Qurm under the auspices of Dr Abdullah Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information, on Monday. — ONA
