This year, 209 camps were observed in Al Batinah North, with Suhar leading with 119 camps, followed by Al Suwaiq with 41 camps, Saham and Al Khabourah with 29 and 11 camps respectively, Shinas with 7 camps and Liwa with 2 camps. Additionally, camps are spread across various governorates that boast picturesque landscapes.
Engineer Nasser al Hinai, Director General of Al Batinah North Municipality, emphasised the importance of winter camps in supporting domestic tourism and diversifying income sources. The municipality is committed to providing facilities that meet the highest environmental and health standards to ensure the sustainability of this sector.
