Muscat:The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) will conduct a field emergency response exercise on Wednesday in South al Batinah Governorate.
The exercise will involve several military, security, and civilian entities. It simulates a scenario of a passenger aircraft crash, including rescue and evacuation operations.
The execution will follow comprehensive coordination plans among all relevant authorities and adhere to pre-established training procedures to achieve the desired training objectives.
In a statement, RAFO said that all movements and procedures observed during the exercise are purely training simulations, not real-life incidents.
The drill aims to maintain high levels of preparedness and readiness to handle emergencies and unforeseen situations effectively.
