SAF chief of staff receives French counterpart

MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Sunday Gen Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Defence Staff of the French Republic. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and reviewed several military matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamed bin Abdullah al Balushi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, several senior COSAF officers and the military attaché of the French embassy in Muscat. — ONA
