MUSCAT: HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received in his office on Tuesday Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India. The meeting reviewed means of enhancing the strategic and economic partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. It also explored areas of cooperation in several areas of common interest. The meeting was attended by Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Secretary-General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad, Saif bin Ahmed al Sawafi, Adviser at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad, Issa bin Saleh al Shibani, Ambassador of Oman to India, and Pankaj Khimji, Adviser for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. Meanwhile, it was attended from the Indian side by Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to Oman. — ONA
