Attack on Saudi Hospital in Sudan

The Sultanate of Oman has condemned and denounced the attack on the Saudi Hospital in the city of Al Fashir, the Republic of Sudan, expressing its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Sudanese government and families of the victims.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Oman stressed the need to respect international humanitarian law and spare civilian, medical facilities and their personnel the impacts of armed conflicts.
Oman called upon all parties to resort to dialogue to resolve differences, in order to preserve the supreme interests of Sudan.
The United Nations said a paramilitary attack on a hospital in Al Fashir, in Sudan's western Darfur region, had killed 70 people including patients receiving critical care.
