Hazy weather expected for two days: Oman Meteorology

Hazy conditions are predicted on Thursday and Friday for the majority of the governorates, the Oman Meteorology said.

According to the Oman Met Office, these weather conditions may include isolated rain and cloud advection across a portion of the Arabian and Oman Sea coastlines.

The Oman Meteorology's aerial photograph showed dust was moving in the direction of Musandam Governorate.

Over portions of the governorates of Dhofar and South AL-Sharqiya, there is also a probability of low clouds or fog patches in the late evening to early morning.

Winds will be from the north to the northeast over the majority of the governorate, as well as over portions of the Arabian Sea coast.

With a maximum wave height of 3.0 meters, the sea condition is predicted to be moderate to rough along the majority of the governorate's coastlines.

The creation of fog and the rise of dust may reduce visibility. High sea waves may cause the sea to become moderate to rough, so the public has been advised to exercise caution by the weather experts.

In the Sultanate of Oman, Salalah Port recorded the highest temperature at 28 degrees Celsius, while Jabal Shams recorded the lowest, with a high of 8 degrees Celsius and a low of 2 degrees.

The Sultanate of Oman's highest recorded temperature was 28 degrees Celsius in Salalah Port, while the lowest recorded temperature was in Jabal.
