Dar Al Atta’a wins Khaled Al Essa Al Saleh award

 
KUWAIT CITY: Dar Al Atta’a Association secured third place in the fifth edition of the Khaled Al Essa Al Saleh Award for Institutional Excellence. The award ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Amthal al Huwailah, Kuwait's Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood in Kuwait. The event was organised by the Union of Charitable Societies, with the attendance of various charitable organisations from across the Gulf region.

The award is considered one of the most prestigious honours, celebrating the outstanding efforts of charitable and humanitarian organisations in Kuwait, the Gulf region and the Arab world. It serves as a pioneering model in promoting charitable work and fostering humanitarian values in societies.

On this occasion, Mariam bint Issa al Zadjaliyah, Founder and Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association, expressed her delight with this achievement, emphasising that the recognition reflects the association’s commitment to adopting best practices in management and quality standards. She highlighted that the association has received ISO 9001 certification for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Furthermore, Dar Al Atta’a is the first voluntary charitable organisation to obtain governance certification from the Oman Center for Governance and Sustainability.

This achievement reaffirms the association’s leading role in leveraging modern technologies and implementing top-notch standards to enhance its humanitarian efforts and fulfil its noble mission.
