MUSCAT: Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit (IFU) announced it has begun implementing the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by laying the foundations for launching a dedicated electronic platform to receive complaints and suggestions in government institutions in 2025.

Hilal bin Abdullah al Hinai, Director-General of the Quality and Government Excellence Department at Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, said that the platform aims to improve the services provided by government institutions, enhance beneficiary satisfaction and achieve Vision priorities particularly the governance of the state’s administrative apparatus, resources and projects.

He added that the platform keeps pace with the government’s digital transformation strategy noting that AI-powered work methodologies and tools have been adopted to implement it, noting that this national platform is linked to 45 government service agencies and is one of the enablers that will help agencies respond to the requirements of beneficiaries according to unified methodologies governed by controls and standards. — ONA
