Haniya gave his life for the people of Palestine

The whole international community is silent and unwilling to hear or listen to Palestinians protest and outcry.

Today, the world woke up in shock to the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniya in Iran. The news came like a thunderbolt to war-weary Gazans. The Hamas political chief died defending 'his land, his people and its sanctities,' one Palestinian told Reuters.

The whole incident can be seen in two perspectives: a meek triumph and a courageous death fighting for a genuine cause.

For Israel and its allies, the operation that led to the killing of Haniya is legitimate and based on pre-set plans and intentions. It exhibits that the Israeli acts are carried out with premeditation and deliberation. The assassination has been carried out with consideration and planning. It seems that Israel intends to eradicate and uproot the whole original population of occupied Palestine. The whole international community is silent and unwilling to hear or listen to Palestinians protest and outcry.

The whole world has become devoid of consciousness of guilt, shortcoming, and impropriety. There is no international law nor is there an obligation or willingness on the part of Israel to accept responsibility or to account for its murderous actions. The blood of Palestinians, men and women, young and elderly, is on the hands of Israel. As per Israeli practices and laws, children as young as 8 years can be put in prison. Israel shows no respect for the rights of women by assaulting their dignity in jails.

We sing praises and boast about international law and conventions. But Israel cares least about these norms. There should be an international prize to be granted to Israel for its constant and continued violation of international law in the killing fields of the holy land of Palestine. So, today Israel celebrates the victory over its international arch enemy.

Hanniya also has the right to celebrate his martyrdom. He was killed in defense of a genuine cause. He knew beforehand that death was inevitable and could not be avoided or evaded. It was a matter of time only for him and for the rest of Palestinians.

All Palestinians know that one way or another they will get killed and are in an intermediate state where their righteous souls await resurrection and the final judgment. There is another place of bliss, felicity, and delight in heaven awaiting them. The justice of Allah is above all human laws. When people on the day of judgement stand before Allah, the international law becomes nil and void. There is no more United Nations nor is there a Security Council. Under Chapter 9, Israel will be held accountable for all its atrocities on the day of judgement. So, Muslims and Palestinians should not worry.
