Oman engages in dialogue on Sustainable Development
NEW YORK: The Sultanate of Oman continues its participation in the 12th session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) being held under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council on July 8 to 18.
The forum is held under the theme ‘Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crisis: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions’.
The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation is headed by Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy.
The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in multiple events including public sessions, dialogue sessions as well as an accompanying exhibition within the context of the country’s second voluntary national review on the progress it has made in achieving the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. — ONA
