MUSCAT: The Majlis Ash'shura Office on Monday reviewed the response of the Council of Ministers on a query about some airports in the Sultanate of Oman.

The response included the views of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, including a briefing about procedures pertaining to the three airports of Sohar, Al Duqm and Salalah, the total cost of the airports and future plans for the management of the facilities.

This was unveiled at the Majlis Ash'shura’s 12th regular session of the first annual convening during the Majlis's10th Term (2023-2027). The meeting was chaired by Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali, Chairman of the Majlis Ash'shura.

The Majlis Ash'shura Office also reviewed other government replies to a number of follow-up queries filed by the Majlis Ash'shura’s members. — ONA
