ALGIERS: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, on Wednesday met with Nadir Larbaoui, Prime Minister of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and the outcomes of the Joint Oman-Algeria committee meetings that are held in Algiers over these days.

The two sides discussed several regional and international issues and challenges. They also underlined the importance of tackling these issues through wisdom and political and legal measures.

Moreover, the two officials reiterated the depth of historic relations binding the two countries. They also lauded the noticeable development these relations witnessed over the last years.

Both sides expressed their keenness to continue coordination and consultation in a manner that serves the two countries’ interests.

The meeting was attended by Saif bin Nasser al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Algeria and several officials from both sides. — ONA
