MUSCAT: At the forefront of leadership development, the Royal Academy of Management (RAM) launched 'The National CEO Programme' whose visionary initiative aligns with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's ambitious vision to develop and empower existing and future leaders of Oman across both public and private sectors.
With a dedicated focus on executive leaders within the private sector, the programme represents a transformative journey towards leadership excellence. It is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge for navigating the multifaceted challenges of contemporary leadership. From mastering the intricacies of change management and steering strategic initiatives to championing innovation and embracing digital transformation, the programme offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to empower leaders at every level.
Dr Ali bin Qassim al Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, highlighted the importance of the programme in nurturing a community of future Omani executive leadership to unleash the competitive and sustainable potential of the Sultanate of Oman’s private sector, thereby driving sustainable economic growth.
He further emphasised that the programme aligns with the academy’s framework to develop national leaders capable of propelling performance and growth by empowering them with the skills needed to emerge as the future leaders who will drive the sector to the forefront of the Omani economy.
The programme takes participants on a challenging eight-month journey that comprises five dynamic modules, face-to-face, virtual and experiential learning. It involves international discovery learning, one-to- one leadership coaching and experimentation.
Applications for the programme are open to all senior executive leaders who meet the eligibility criteria requirements from May 15 to May 26, 2024. This cohort of the programme will accommodate 35 participants from senior executive leadership in private sector institutions.
