Real Estate Conference begins with focus on future cities

 
MUSCAT: Under the patronage of Abdulsalam al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), the 19th edition of the Muscat Real Estate Conference and Oman Build & Design Week commenced on Monday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The conference will shed light on an array of upcoming real estate projects, including the Sultan Haitham City, Al Jabal Project, Downtown Al Khuwair, the smart cities of Salalah, and Suhar City and the Greater Muscat Plan, which will turn the capital into a greener, more interconnected, resilient, and thriving metropolis.

The real estate activities alone accounted for three percent of the GDP in 2023.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning actively seeks to bolster this vital sector by launching numerous future real estate projects, stimulating investment, and creating new employment opportunities.

With over 50 global experts and speakers participating, the conference fosters robust dialogue and collaboration within the real estate sector. Sharing experiences and expertise, the event empowers sector growth, nurtures promising startups, and highlights the latest technological advancements in real estate development.
