Muscat: SalamAir recently opened its new office in Baghdad.

Hamed Ahmed Eidroos, Ambassador of Oman in Iraq, attended the event and highlighted the historic significance of SalamAir's arrival in Baghdad.

This new office marks the first of an Omani airline in Iraq, symbolizing a crucial step forward.

After a 20-year hiatus in direct flights between Oman and Iraq, SalamAir re-established this vital connection on August 31, 2023 fostering greater accessibility and cooperation between the two nations.

The establishment of the Baghdad office reflects SalamAir's dedication to expanding its network and offering travelers a wider range of affordable travel options.

SalamAir flies four flights a week from Baghdad to Muscat and onwards to amazing destinations including Salalah, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Dhaka, Jaipur, Lucknow, Multan, and Dammam.

The office is situated in the Al Asal Building, 14th Ramadan St. Al Mansour district.
