The Sultanate of Oman will make its first appearance at MIPIM, the world's premier real estate event, held March 12-15 in Cannes, France. MIPIM attracts over 18,000 attendees, including a significant number of top international investors, and features over 7,000 companies.

Oman's delegation, led by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, will use the platform to highlight key investment opportunities, showcasing projects like Jabal Al Akhdar and Al Khuwair Downtown. Dr Khalfan al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, is also expected to participate in one of the conference sessions.

Standing out as Oman's highest real estate development, Jabal Al Akhdar boasts a unique location 150km from Muscat and an elevation of 2,400 meters. The ambitious project envisions a mix of residential and hospitality offerings, featuring 2,527 homes, 2,000 hotel rooms, and a dedicated wellness village dubbed 'The Vessel.' Capitalizing on its cool, year-round climate thanks to its high altitude (average temperature of 22°C), Jabal Al Akhdar aims to attract a vibrant community of residents and day visitors, with projections exceeding 8,000, including an average of 2,350 residents and 2,000 daily visitors.

Oman's participation in MIPIM signifies a strategic move to bolster the nation's housing, investment, and industrial sectors. By showcasing these developments, Oman positions itself as an attractive destination for future international investment.
