Muscat Parents Council reviews its work

MUSCAT: The Parents Council of Muscat held a meeting headed by Ali bin Saeed Al Saeedi, Wali of Muscat Chairman of the Council, in the presence of members, at Al Zahra Basic Education School in Muscat.
The meeting reviewed the topics on the agenda and discussed the work of the Council during the current period.
The issue of supporting schools for maintenance, restoration and care of their facilities was discussed. In addition to events and state school programs, and identifying schools’ needs for interactive television devices. As well as assigning the educational committee to prepare the inventory form.
The Council's Educational Committee plan was also reviewed, and the status of schools in terms of grades and student preparation was discussed. In addition to the plan to honor outstanding students, teachers and distinguished students.
It is worth noting that the Parents Council is interested in strengthening the ties between the parents’ councils in Muscat schools, researching topics of interest to students, and discussing the best solutions and practices that support the optimal flow of the educational process for students. The meeting concluded by making appropriate recommendations.
