Fitness centres, bowling lounges to remain closed

Muscat: Fitness centers or gyms in Oman will remain closed as per the directives of the Supreme Committee.
The Supreme Committee last week clarified that the suspension of all sports activities includes indoor gymnasiums.
The Muscat Municipality said that following the directives of the Supreme Committee to suspend sports activities, it wishes to clarify that the closure includes:
Enclosed sport halls
Artificial turf pitches
Fitness clubs and centers (Gyms)
Bowling lounges
Halls of all types of martial art
Ice skating centers
