Education Minister honours outstanding students

MUSCAT: Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, honoured two students who excelled in academic achievement in the presence of Dr Abdullah bin Khamis Ambosaidi, Under-Secretary for Education.

Dr Madeeha honoured Mohammed bin Adil al Abdawani from Muscat International School for taking the first place on the international level in May/June 2023 results in Mathematics tests level AS from Pearson Edexcel for the academic year 2022/2023, along with his excellence in all school subjects and activities.



She also honoured student Sarah bint Ali al Shirawi from Al Shweifat International Private School for achieving (A+) in eight subjects in IGCSE programme and for achieving (A+) in a number of subjects in Level A programme from Cambridge Institute and her excellence in her academic achievement in school.

The honouring comes as a continuation for the role that the Ministry of Education plays in celebrating students in winning advanced places in their academic achievement and in local, regional and international competitions in scientific, cultural, societal and sports fields to encourage them to continue their excellence and development of skills and talents to compete among their peers internationally.
