Dominant Seeb secure win against Oman Club in OBL

MUSCAT: Seeb Club emerged triumphant over the Oman Club with an impressive score of 103-32. The match, held at the secondary hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, was part of the second round of the Oman Basketball League 2023-24 season.
The Seeb team, under the guidance of national coach Kazem al Balushi, was able to devise a solid plan that enabled them to excel both defensively and offensively, thanks to the high concentration of their players and their field experience. Standout players for Seeb included USA professional player Press Jonathan, Rashid al Zehabi, Al Waqas al Hinai and Abdulrahman al Shuaibi.
The game kicked off with Seeb taking an early lead, securing a two-point advantage through a shot under the basket by Ahmed al Maamari. Despite efforts from Oman Club, Seeb continued to dominate, scoring six points through Marwan al Haddidi and Press. Then, Oman Club managed to score two points while Seeb extended their lead by adding four points through players Press and Ahmed Al Maamari, bringing the score to 12-2.
Seeb continued their attack and pressure on Oman Club, adding 15 points through Marwan al Haddidi, Press, Abdulraza al Battashi and Mazen al Haddidi. Meanwhile, Oman Club added seven points through Ayman al Sharqi and Hussain al Kindi. The first quarter ended with Seeb leading Oman Club 27-9.
In the second quarter, Seeb continued with the same playing style, taking advantage of the clear lack of concentration from Oman Club's players. Seeb kept scoring points and widening the gap, with Rashid al Zehabi scoring the first two points and his teammate Press adding five points, including a three-point shot and two free throws, bringing Seeb's lead to 32-9.
